Users don't understand the technicalities of how a LLM works, and expect the result to be factually correct. But glad to see ChatGPT is trying to manage expectations with such a disclaimer. Transparency isn't buried in fine print—it's front and center. #Fintech could take a page from this playbook. Imagine the following messages celebrated across the product : "We're a tech company partnering with banks, not a bank ourselves" "Your balance is checked daily against our partner bank's records" --- 💡 Taking cue from the the latest Synapse and Evolve Bank & Trust saga. "We comply with AML and BSA regulations to keep your money safe" The Jeeves product consider being transparent with our users a core principle.

But wait, why does companies have policies to control only the obvious visible expenses - software, travel, etc. What about the hidden costs that drain productivity and profitability?💡 Picture this: An expense policy for every meeting with more than 10 people. Yes, you heard it right! Coinbase is setting up for success for the next step function adoption in #Crypto and #dApps Its smart embedded wallet seems to have made the right choices to provide a self-custodial wallet that is usable. -No seed phrases anymore -Reliance on Google and Apple to store the Passkeys -> We already trust these companies with our data -Trust Coinbase to deploy the smart contract while ensuring the dApp is never the custodian welldone Coinbase!

#GenAI and #Crypto development seem to have some fundamental similarities. Both are witnessing a proliferation of infrastructure development - new models/platforms and layer 1/layer 2 blockchains. Though Crypto is more decentralized while GenAI is dominated by a few large tech companies with immense resources. Both are also facing the risk of oversupply of undifferentiated solutions, leading to an abundance of "useless capacity". In crypto, the oversupply is visible in the form of proliferation of cryptocurrencies, #NFT projects, #DeFi platforms, etc. In GenAI, the oversupply is in the form of multitude of AI solutions (writing assistants, image generators, chatbots) offering similar capabilities. #productmanagement

Fintech PMs can so easily be seen as pessimists shooting down that new cool idea - launching a faster money movement method, or a new credit product, or many other things dependent on compliance, regulation, capital, risk, etc etc etc 💼💡 But I've been blessed to see teams that complement that pessimism with an optimistic drive for action! 🚀 They're fueled by the problem and the determination to keep trying until they find something that can (in)validate the problem.
