**Again raises $43 million from GV and HV Capital to build full-scale decarbonisation plants.** We are excited to share that we have raised $43 million in series A financing to continue on our mission to decarbonise industry at scale by turning CO2 into valuable products. The round was co-led by HV Capital and GV (Google Ventures), with participation from KOMPAS VC, EIFO and CSC Leasing as well as our existing investors ACME Capital and Atlantic Labs. With this financing we will start delivering products to our customers, as we accelerate the global roll-out of our decarbonisation technology. We are also grateful to the many partners we work with who have made this milestone possible, including HELM AG, DTU - Technical University of Denmark and SINTEF. Finally, none of this would have been possible without the amazing work of the entire Again team, who are pushing the boundaries of biotechnology to solve the climate crisis. Excited to announce the launch of BIONEER Project on June 1st, 2024! Over the next 48 months, we’ll be demonstrating the incredible potential of #lignocellulosic #biomass to replace #fossil-based materials in furniture #coatings and #personalcare products. On July 1-2, 2024, the BIONEER Project consortium gathered in Norway for the project kick-off meeting. By harnessing sustainably sourced biomass, BIONEER Project aims to produce novel platform #chemicals, moving beyond first-gen solutions. This project builds on the success of EnXylaScope and PERFECOAT, targeting key industrial applications with an eye on mass-market deployment. Our innovative BIONEER Project Building Blocks will replace harmful chemicals like bisphenol A, alkyl acrylates, and siloxanes, paving the way for a greener future. Stay tuned for more updates!
