We were proud to serve as the Official Medical Partner for the 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman in Cambridge. It was an honor providing support for these fearless and resilient athletes dedicated to overcoming whatever challenges they faced on race day. We’re especially grateful to our University of Maryland Shore Regional Health team members for making this a success. UM Shore Regional Health's Stroke Center leadership celebrated Talbot County as a Stroke Smart County with a proclamation from the Talbot County Council. Led by Dr. Rena Sukhdeo Singh, efforts have focused on community stroke education during National Stroke Awareness Month. Their goal is to integrate stroke education into school curriculums and community hubs to empower early stroke recognition and care. The initiative underscores UM Shore Regional Health's commitment to quality stroke treatment and community wellness. That's a better state of care.
