🌟 Breaking News! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce that Upham's PACE has been designated as "Age-Friendly" by the city of Boston! 🎉👏 After meticulous walk-through visits at of our PACE Centers, the City's staff assessed various age- and dementia-friendly features and services we offer, including bright lighting, accessible facilities, and door-through-door transportation. This designation is a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care and support to the elderly in our community. In the words of our CEO, Jay Trivedi, "This certification reaffirms our dedication to creating environments that prioritize the needs and well-being of our elderly population. We are proud to be recognized by the city of Boston and will continue to strive for excellence in our services." Check out the clip from the National PACE Association, featuring our manager, Maria Amado-Cardoso, and aide Theresa Simmons proudly displaying the Age-Friendly Certification at our Dorchester/Savin Hill PACE Center. Upham's Community Care is honored to be a part of the Boston Age-Friendly Project, a collaborative initiative aimed at making our city a better place to live and age. Our journey to becoming certified as an Age-Friendly organization began with participation in Age-Friendly Certification Training, led by the city’s Age Strong Commission. This training provided valuable insights and equipped us with the tools necessary to implement positive changes in our PACE Centers. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff, whose hard work and dedication have made this achievement possible. Together, we will continue to uphold our commitment to fostering age-friendly environments and enhancing the quality of life for all. #AgeFriendlyBoston #ElderlyCare #CommunityImpact #UphamsPACE #BostonStrong 🌆👵👴#NPA, #FQHC, #MLCHC https://lnkd.in/enduqmFM
