Senior Business Development Manager - Boldyn Networks - Enhancing Mobile Connectivity within the Built Environment
Those moments of contact are lost as you commute across London Underground...not anymore! This is a complicated deployment, but an extremely important one for #london Boldyn connects all mobile operators #4G #5G transmission from its 10 data centres to its #TfL #DAS via its own fibre network. But the best bit....there is room for expansion in each data centre to allow for #4G #5G connectivity to the commercial landscape above the underground. Without need for space on site, that's all taken care of elsewhere. #RealEstate Developers and Landlords can provide their tenants with brilliantly connected office accommodation, meeting the demands for what is now expected basic communications infrastructure.
Exciting news for London! High-speed 4G and 5G mobile coverage is now live in the tunnels between Liverpool Street and Paddington on the Elizabeth line, following all Elizabeth line stations getting mobile coverage earlier this year. But that’s not all — this summer, in partnership with Transport for London, we’re expanding coverage to the tunnels between Whitechapel, Canary Wharf, and Woolwich, meaning uninterrupted connectivity for passengers across the entire Elizabeth line. Plus, further sections of the Northern, Bakerloo, Piccadilly, and Victoria lines are set to go live in the coming months. More news regarding Bradford Bus Station. The station will be closed for "at least two months to ensure these issues can be assessed ". It is essential replacement shelters and locations are sorted as quickly as possible, due to the impact this is having on employees and employers. While the update is welcomed, there is plenty of work still to be done. We will be discussing this and more at the next Bradford Property & Economic Steering Group.

✨Reducing demand for cars and trucks is a key strategy for business district recovery and resurgence in NYC.✨ The New New York action plan is the City and State's roadmap for business district recovery out of the pandemic. One of its three pillars for business district recovery is "Making It Easier for New Yorkers to Get to Work," and under that pillar sits one of the plan's forty initiatives: "Firmly Support Congestion Pricing." The goal of Congestion Pricing is to reduce driving in the Manhattan business districts while raising a dedicated revenue stream for needed transit repairs and upgrades. Why does this matter for business district recovery? Not only does it fund critical investments in public transportation, which is the lifeblood of New York City. Reducing demand for cars and trucks will also allow vehicles that do need to be on the road to travel more quickly and efficiently while opening up more of our street space for public space, pedestrians, and more sustainable modes of transportation. Grateful to B.J. Jones for stewarding NYC's business district recovery agenda so that we can make New York work for everyone.
From alleviating traffic and funding accessible transit to improving the environment and prioritizing pedestrians, there are numerous benefits to congestion pricing - which is why it has been and must remain a key component of the plan to make New York work for everyone. #NewNY https://lnkd.in/guzAEMHE

In our latest blog, we discuss the closure of the M25 between junctions 10 and 11 near Wisley in Surrey this weekend. Ahead of the closure, we have been checking what advance information is available to road users. We know that accurate, helpful information is a must for road users. It needs to be clear where a road will be closed, that there’s a diversion clearly signed and how much extra time (and mileage) will be added to the trip. At the moment we’re talking to road users about their experiences when diverted off a National Highways road, including at Wisley this weekend. We want to know what is working well and what more can be done to improve their experience. This important piece of work will enable us to help National Highways improve their diversion routes and driver communications in the future. Find out more: https://ow.ly/iv9I50QUycN #Roads
