Take a look inside newly-opened Marlow restaurant Piccolino

More than 200 guests enjoyed the authentic flavours of Italy at the launch of a new restaurant in Marlow last week.

Piccolino opened the doors to its newly refurbished restaurant in Marlow High Street on Monday, May 20. 

The venue hosted a launch event on Thursday, May 23, inviting the community to enjoy a champagne and canape reception and take up the opportunity to dine in the newly refurbished restaurant. 

More than 200 guests attended and were treated to a selection of canapes inspired by the new menu and enjoyed dishes from the Italian cuisine, alongside cocktails and entertainment from a DJ, who performed on the newly renovated terrace.

Owned by restaurant group Individual Restaurants, the new venue seats up to 160 guests in the restaurant, with more seating in the brass and marble topped bar area, and doors also open out to a winterised secret garden.

The interior of the refurbished eatery features diamond cut mirrors, wood panelling, a brass and marble-topped bar area and greenery throughout the main restaurant.

The exclusive menu takes guests on a journey of taste, using ingredients from across Italy.

Visitors can enjoy fish filleted tableside, authentic Italian pasta dishes including Carbonara Grande prepared at the table from a large pecorino cheese wheel, and Fassona beef sourced from Piedmont in North West Italy.

The secret garden offers guests the chance to soak up the summer sun or cosy up on the heated all-weather terrace, with a DJ performing on selected evenings.

A traditional Italian aperitif or a drink of their choice is on offer to visitors in the marble bar area before dining.

Bartenders are also on hand to create iconic Italian cocktails and serve wines, as curated by the on-site sommelier.
