Ben Affleck got real about what it’s like to be famous in the Season Four premiere episode of Kevin Hart’s show “Hart to Heart.”

While discussing the pros and cons of living in the spotlight, Affleck said that people tend to have a strong reaction when they see his wife, Jennifer Lopez.

“She’s so famous and she creates this — people love her, and she really represents something important to people,” he said. “...It’s amazing.”

Affleck then recalled a time when he saw J. Lo’s fame firsthand. He said it happened when they were on their way to see a play in Times Square in New York City. Since they were running late, he suggested they get out of their car to walk “a block and a half.”

“She was like alright,” he said.

Once they got out of the vehicle, Affleck said they got bombarded by fans who recognized her immediately, including a lady who kept screaming J. Lo’s name and filming her on the street.

“The s–-- was like f–king bananas,” he said.

“I was like, ‘Oh my God,’” Affleck said, adding that it felt like they were surrounded by “hundreds of people.”

During the interview, Affleck also spoke about his views on fame and how it has affected his children.

“Sometimes I’ll come home and I’ll see that they’ve gone through some bulls---. It breaks my heart where I’m like, this s--t would never happen if I wasn’t in this life and it’s hard. I really, really f---ing second guess it a lot. But I also know I like this life for them better than the one that I had and that’s the balance. I talked with Jennifer about that a lot.”

As for Lopez, she once told the hosts of Audacy that she feels mom guilt for exposing her kids to fame.

“I think it must for difficult for them to grow up and be themselves,” she explained. “They know there is a lens on them ... It’s hard for them, I think, and I did that to them.”

Lopez shares her two kids, Emme and Max, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck shares his three kids, Seraphina, Violet and Samuel, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
