FM writes from Limerick: I am writing on behalf of my mother. She is 73 and wants to pay the new household charge. She does not have internet access or a credit card, which as far as I know are required to pay the tax. I understood an information leaflet was to be posted to each house explaining the system. I haven’t seen one, nor have my mother or my sisters. The only information I have is what has been reported on the television news and in newspapers. My mother can’t be the only person in this situation. Not everyone has access to the internet and credit or debit cards. Do you know if there are plans to make this easier?
