Seinfeld takes Pixar’s patented “secret life of...” formula (ie, toys, bugs, fish) and here applies it to the world of bees, but with only middling results. The amiable if ramshackle narrative follows a disillusioned worker called Barry B. Benson (Seinfeld) who flees the hive, falls in love with a human florist called Vanessa (Zellweger), sues mankind for stealing honey from the bees, and unwittingly brings about a global ecological disaster (no bees = no fertilised flowers).
