Broadsheet, a current-affairs website, has removed a 2018 post about the journalist Olaf Tyaransen after he filed a High Court action against the site on Thursday.

Tyaransen is suing both Chompsky Ltd, the holding company behind Broadsheet, and Twitter, over a series of posts by Brooke Magnanti, a researcher who has written about her time as a sex worker under the pseudonym Belle du Jour.

Tyaransen said he was suing both Twitter and Broadsheet because they had refused to take down posts from Magnanti that contained allegations about an incident involving a woman he interviewed for Hot Press in 2014.
