In yesterday’s paper we published a summary of evidence given by Mr Noble Marara in ongoing extradition proceedings concerning five exiles suspected of involvement in the 1994 Rwandan genocide. The headline “Driver wanted for genocide says he fears for his life” was incorrect. Mr Marara, a refugee in this country, was giving evidence as a witness and is not suspected of involvement in genocide. We are happy to make this clear. We apologise for the mistake.
