What should have been a summer heavyweight blockbuster between David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko has turned into little more than a game of pass the blame, but Frank Warren, the promoter of Dereck Chisora, believes that Haye and Adam Booth, his manager, are the ones at fault for the world title unification bout not going ahead.

Chisora challenges for Klitschko’s WBO, IBF and IBO titles in Mannheim, Germany, on April 30. The bout looked likely to be scrapped, after an injury to Klitschko led to it being called off at short notice last month, in favour of the heavyweight unification everyone wanted to see.
