Digest: Fast Track honours for leading entrepreneurs

The entrepreneurs behind Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales were welcomed by Sir Richard Branson to his family’s Oxfordshire home last week to celebrate the 18th annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 awards.

Charles Rolls, co-founder of recently floated drinks firm Fever-Tree, and Gareth Williams of travel search engine Skyscanner were among the speakers. A panel on disruptive companies included Naked Wines founder Rowan Gormley, now boss of Majestic Wine.

Rapha took The Sunday Times best brand award. Coryton Advanced Fuels picked up the Barclays outstanding achievement award, Concrete Canvas scooped the Business Growth Fund award for effective use of capital, and BDO’s best management team was Corbin & King.
