President Trump’s approval rating is higher than at any point during his time in office as Democratic opponents struggle to find a line of attack against him for the 2020 election.
Buoyed by a booming economy, his approval is at 44 per cent, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll, two points higher than his previous peak early in his presidency.
