THE twinkling feet of Karl Fitzpatrick proved the difference in this tough encounter between two committed sides. The Salford full back scored two tries and created a third with his pace and side-stepping ability.

London put the pressure on from the kick-off but could not penetrate a well-organised Salford defence. The Reds eventually marched upfield and, when Thomas Leuluai was forced to relieve the pressure with a kick, Fitzpatrick latched onto it inside his own half and launched a spectacular counter-attack.
