Magashi Camp, Rwanda
Everyone thinks of Rwanda as the place to see gorillas. The first luxury safari camp in the heart of the Akagera National Park, opening in March, will show that the country offers far more than that, including the Big Five and the endangered shoebill. It will have six stylish suites with canopied beds, an open-plan tented lounge with a fire pit, a dining area on the edge of the Rwanyakazinga Lake and a beautifully camouflaged island bar.
