HHH l DINO STALKER

(Capcom/PS2) £39.99

THIS SHODDY first-person game boasts a mix of rifle-shooting action and free-roaming adventure. There is some fun to be had running amok with the wonderfully powerful rocket launcher, but with its prehistoric graphics and a monstrous control system Dino Stalker is a rift valley away from Namco’s superior Time Crisis 2. In fact, using the Gun-Con 2 peripheral is so awkward that you will want to lop off your hand, and things barely improve after switching to the joypad. If you have three thumbs, this game might appeal, but grab a copy quickly as it will soon be extinct.
