A new hydrogen-powered car designed for use in cities was unveiled in London yesterday. The two-seat Riversimple Urban Car has a top speed of 50mph, can go 240 miles without refuelling and weighs only 350kg — and it is backed by a scion of the Piech family, which founded the luxury German carmaker and Volkswagen.
