News of Kenny Dalglish’s return as Liverpool manager will have sparked delirium in the red half of Merseyside.
Dalglish’s place in the pantheon of Liverpudlian footballing gods is beyond doubt. Having won six league titles as a player and three more as a manager, as well as lifting the European Cup three times, his Anfield years were successful to say the least.
