Charles Edward Hartley Twiss has been appointed a salaried part-time chairman of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales), assigned to the Southampton Region, working on a 50 per cent pro rata basis.

Mr Twiss, 63, was admitted as a solicitor in 1967. He was appointed as a fee-paid chairman of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) in February 1996, then in March 2000 was appointed as a salaried full-time chairman of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales). He reverted back to fee-paid appointment in December 2003 and has now been appointed to serve on a salaried part-time basis, with a 50 per cent working pattern.
