Offer new Covid drugs to clinically vulnerable people like me

‘Booster dose of Pfizer vaccine offers near-total protection” ran the headline in Friday’s Times. That is wonderful news. But for some of us — the forgotten victims of Covid-19 — neither the Pfizer nor any other vaccine offers even basic protection.

I have leukaemia. As such, I am immunosuppressed: my immune system doesn’t work. That means that no matter how many jabs I have, antibody tests show they have no impact.
