The Princess of Wales attended a festival known for its non-stop electronic music last weekend.
Catherine, 41, was a dinner guest of the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley at their Norfolk home, Houghton Hall, while the festival was under way in the grounds of the Palladian mansion.
After dinner one of the guests suggested that the princess cap off the night with a visit to the festival, the Daily Mail reported. “Catherine was nervous about the idea, but, after much discussion with her protection officers, she went with lots of security. William wasn’t there,” a source told the paper. Kensington Palace declined to comment.
