Sir, It seems the Archbishop of Canterbury can’t win. He is criticised if he does not give a lead on moral issues such as keeping Trident (leading article and report, July 1) but then criticised if he does — unless you happen to agree with him.
I am among those who think he is right on this occasion and am grateful for his comments.
