Sergio García’s chances of winning the Dell Championship in Boston suffered a blow in the third round last night when he slammed his putter into a sprinkler head after misjudging an eagle attempt on the short par-four 4th, damaging the club. Under Rule 4-3b, García was not allowed to use it again for the rest of the round. But he holed his birdie putt from 13 feet with a fairway wood
