The decluttering guru Marie Kondo made the news this year when she announced that she had “kind of given up” on tidying her home after the birth of her son in 2021. “Enough with the cleaning brags!” headlines screamed glibly. With three young children, I say Kondo has her priorities straight — and they don’t lie with sageing her bread bin.
