What I wanted to tell Jeremy Corbyn in yesterday’s Brexit debate

Brexit increasingly feels like a running sore, disfiguring the body politic. It’s not just in parliament that one finds division, anger and fear for the future; everywhere in the UK people worry about where all this is going. And it’s not just business that is seriously concerned about a possible no deal outcome materialising at the end of March.

Constituents tell me they are worried about their jobs and about whether or not they will be able to get their medicines or food to put on the table. That’s why yesterday’s debate was so important.
