‘I might pick up a knife and throw it as I don’t get to do that very often,” Alex Horne says before hurling one at me. We’re at the Taskmaster house in Chiswick, which serves as a location for the Bafta award-winning comedy game show that Horne co-presents with Greg Davies. Ten minutes earlier I got a buzz as I walked through the front gates, barely able to contain my inner fanboy.
We begin by standing in a small room with white flooring and walls draped in plastic sheets. It looks like a serial killer’s den, but Taskmaster fans would recognise this as the Lab, a space reserved for filming messier tasks. Romesh Ranganathan once furiously smashed a watermelon to pieces here after being challenged
