The BMW M2 has a flaw with its grille (no, not that one)

A little bonus update for you on the M2, because I want to have a quick gripe about something. The grilles.

This isn’t the usual moan about BMW making grilles which are simply ugly, like the iX, or 4 Series, or 7 Series, or XM… you get the point. The M2’s nostrils are actually fairly in proportion with the rest of its face.

But it annoys me that this is yet another fast car with no mesh to protect the expensive-looking radiator behind it from debris. Almost every week I have to fish leaves, twigs, crisp packets, coffee cuplids and recently, what looked horribly like the remnants of a nappy out of the M2’s mouth.

It consumes more gross detritus than my Labrador. On a £65k car, not bothering to fit some simple mesh to catch the litter dropped by human pond life is, well, a bit cheap of BMW. Or am I in the minority and does the internet prefer the ‘open wide’ look?
