TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – Tupelo High School has a new Director of Bands: Dustin Thrasher.
Thrasher, from Ripley, was promoted during Tuesday’s Board of Trustees meeting, the Tupelo Public School District said in a news release.
Thrasher has been the assistant director since 2019, and is taking over for Cliff Moore, who resigned in April, the distinct says.
Thrasher has a Bachelor’s of Music Education from Ole Miss, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State, and has worked in several cities before getting to Tupelo.
