I have worked on the Dutch ([1]) and English Wikipedia ([2]) since 2006. My first contribution to Wikimedia Commons was in 2007 but I really took off in 2009. My work on Wikimedia Commons primarily consist of cleaning up pictures that can be found on this page: Image_for_cleanup. I do that on an almost daily basis. From time to time I create maps. Some examples:

• Byzantime_Empire_around_565_AD.svg

All in all my work on Wikimedia Commons is not noticed and frankly I don't care. I am not into it for the glory but for the fun of it. Cleaning up pictures is what I normally do on this site. • I have to agree with my colleagues. I suggest you read Commons:Administrators/Requests/Blackcat and follow the advice there. Also, note carefully Rillke's comment. My reply to your comments: Obviously I love photography. I have at least one hour a day available to work on this site. I have no working knowledge on copyright violation etc. but then again I am a lawyer. But after careful consideration I have decided to withdraw my request. The pointers you have given me, have convinced me that one can do a lot more on Wikimedia Commons than I had previously thought of. I will start with that. Thank you for your replies.
