Wiki Loves Earth (WLE) é uma competição fotográfica internacional realizada anualmente em maio e julho, organizado em todo o mundo por capítulos, grupos e voluntários locais da fundação Wikimedia. Os participantes tiram fotos do patrimônio natural local e da paisagem cênica, e as enviam ao repositório de imagens Commons Wikimedia. Para todos os países participantes, existem competições separadas organizadas por equipes locais, portanto, os períodos, regras, prêmios etc. podem diferir um pouco.
O objetivo principal do concurso é coletar fotos dos patrimônios naturais, áreas de conservação ambiental, parques nacionais, paisagens, jardins notáveis, etc - para ilustrarem artigos na Wikipédia e em outros projetos da Fundação Wikimedia. Como no Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM), onde são utilizadas listas oficiais de áreas protegidas, normalmente disponibilizadas por agências governamentais.
O foco não são apenas locais de importância nacional, mas também aqueles protegidos em nível regional e na maior variedade de sítios naturais possíveis: florestas, parques, jardins, rochas, cavernas ou qualquer parte da natureza que seja protegida em seu país. Isso significa que a maioria dos usuários serão capazes de encontrar diversos patrimônios naturais próximos de si.
This year is the 11th edition of the contest and the international winning photos will represent two categories — landscapes (including individual trees, if it's a nature monument) and macro/close-up (animals, plants, fungi):
- on the local level, there are up to 15 winners with not more than 10 from each category. Local organizers can choose not to divide local winners into categories and/or can submit fewer photos (such as 10).
- the international jury will choose up to 20 photos, not more than 10 photos from each category.
- on the international level no more than two photos from one author will be selected in the top 20, as our goal is to diversify the winning images and showcase more natural monuments from various regions and authors.

- May 1 – July 31 and dates close to this timeline suitable for countries' national competitions. See specific timeline for each country.
- End of August: deadline for submissions, e.g. to the Winners page
- October-November: deadline for the international results

- Rules for the international part are published here. Local contests might have their own rules, nominations, deadlines etc.
- Prêmios
- Winners will receive vouchers for Amazon or other online shops; the value depends on the participant's place.
- Local teams might have prizes for winners in the local rounds.
