I think she wanted to point out the conditions of hiwiki. But at present a candidate requires 80% consensus and some other experiences. User:Manojkhurana has those experience and got sufficient consensus also.Satyam Mishra ^--talk-- 18:14, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

Presently all sysops are permanent; user:Manojkhurana and me were granted 3 month's temp access, and after the expiration of this period both the proposals (this one and the above one) were for permanent access (स्थाई/स्थायी = permanent). user:Manojkhurana is now eligible to get this access as per local discussion by 9/1 results and we request to grant him the same! At present hi:user:Mala_chaubey, me and hi:user:सत्यम्_मिश्र are active and permanent sysop at hiwiki (We all 3 have given our views above). But we need extra members which can handle the whole work we have to do. Since, this user get more then 80% support and fullfill all requirements at hiwiki. Addition. And so I went to TranslateWiki to check on MediaWiki CU localisation, and found there the user making mass edits where he just copypaste phrases from Russian language locale with literary just replacing letter Е with Ѣ. MarcoAurelio, I think mr @ОйЛ: thinks I am a vandal. The main rule in the Wikimedia Projects is to be friendly with all contributors, but ОйЛ is not friendly, he doesn't work himself in cu.wikipedia, and he does not want anybody else to work. Hi. Today I got the message on voy/sv that my temporary admin right has expired. But this adminship was based on an election on voy/sv (see link to the archiv). Mardetanha, as much as I trust you and your words, rules should be the same for everyone. I can't in good faith renew this user's adminship while I've been asking other users under similar circumstances to announce their intentions to their communities, and have even denied some of those requests for lacking such announcement. I know that in the past the procedure on rights renewal was sightly different, but that's the current practice followed by the majority of us. There's no mistrust on you nor on Kasir, it's simply about what I think it's fair and just. Thanks for your understanding. If other stewards disagree with me, feel free to proceed upon it. I think unnecessary. The bureaucrat policy of Portuguese Wikipedia is enough clear about blocks involving bureaucrats. See this sentence: "Qualquer outra ocorrência que resulte no bloqueio do usuário (parcial ou total), como, por exemplo, ataques pessoais, levará à remoção imediata." Under Remoção imediata (inmediate removal) I see that "Qualquer outra ocorrência que resulte no bloqueio do usuário (parcial ou total), como, por exemplo, ataques pessoais, levará à remoção imediata" which roughly/crappy translated means that anyother violation that results on the user block, such as for example personal attacks, will carry the inmediate removal. The global policy has, as far as I'm aware, always been interpreted as "any activity" and not "CU activity". A limit based on CU activity could encourage unnecessary checks to comply with the inactivity criterion. Of course, it can be established as a stricter local guideline to expect that. The CheckUser policy says that any inactive user account will have their CU access removed. The interpretation of such clause that we use is that the account must be totally inactive (no edits, no log actions and no CU actions). Unless local policy mandates that the CU will loose its status because the user does not perform CU actions, I think we should decline this request. The local policy do state that checkusers who haven't used their checkuser access for more than a year will have their rights removed. (Point 1 of section 2.3 in the policy linked above. Original discussion about this point was here.) So, the question here is: Does the global CheckUser policy interpretation override the local one or not? @Meno25: If local policy is stricter and non contradictory to global policy, then I'd say it's valid. Please add a summary of local guidelines at CheckUser policy/Local policies for future instances. Although I understand ar-wiki local policy allows me to claim back CU rights within 3 months of removal without further nomination (3.2.5) local policy also stated "Email and talk page notification shall be sent 14 days prior removal requests"(3.2.3). Moreover we discussed a few CU policy issuss on last May,8Th and none has argue any lack of activity or cues.

A couple of users probably driven by enthusiasm are lobbying lately to spread a new wave of rapid rights removal. Fortunately I'm addressing all these issues with our local community [3]. Hello there. The reason why I would like to do an admin request is because I have studied several Gothic grammar books and due to the number of mistakes in the Wikipedia interface of the Gothic language I decided at a certain point to simply stop contributing, instead, I would like to an admin request now to clean up the mess, one of the reasons is that I have enough time to do this. The main page for example contains several sentences which are incorrect and misspelled words. If I get adminship (or a temporary one), it's possible for me to remove all mistakes which I spot and apply the correct grammar to them. Another thing which I would like to change are the language proficiency texts for Gothic (got-1, got-2 etc.), they contain sentences like: This person speaks Middle Gothic. I would rather like to change that to "Gothic at an average level", but with correct vocabulary, as this sentence reads like there exists some kind of Middle Gothic. I also need to change some of the system messages which currently aren't good, and the things from translatewiki don't get exported to got.wikipedia.org anymore too. I know that users at Wikipedias in ancient languages usually don't have the knowledge to contribute, but I also think that possible contributors are scared away by the grammar mistakes from users at the Gothic wikipedia which have good motivation and positive intentions, but which create texts which aren't of good quality. I also would like to change the current transliteration system. The current one requires users to copy-paste a javascript at each page, I 'm sure that I and the other users can find a better way to do it like an automatic javascript at every page. CommentThe whole conversation at slWV is a construction. The dates on the requests are 2012, and the page has been built in 2014. I do not think that we have evidence of people requesting rights, and a community having a reasonable chance for conversation. If rights are required, we need a proper conversation where someone nominates themself, or agrees to being nominated, and the community having the chance for comment. I understand. I have created the page for admin requests (link above) in 2014 for the reason of standardization of request pages across all sl: wikis. It also contains archive of 2012 requests (from the old page). The v:sl: community is very small so the actual voting can't be carried out - this is the situation of all sl: wikis except Wikipedia. You are missing my point. This is not a suitable process. If they wish to be admins, there is a process to be followed, and they should follow it. I do not see that it is proper for these users to be nominated by proxy, and not confirm their nominations on a page. If they canot do that, they are not worth having as administrators. In slovene community the selfnomination is understood as kind of "less hygienic" (of course, such cases are completely acceptable). So it is common in our praxis that someone - if possible - nominate you and manage then the further process for you. I was nominated for admin on q:sl: by User:Dbc334, I agreed and got promoted. No problem with that. I am an admin for 7 years on w:sl: and 6 years on s:sl: and I think I know the whole slovene community quite well. There is some admin work to be done at SL WV and noone can't do it because of the lack of sysops at the project. I understand my almost 2 year inactivity at SL WV might be a problem. Give admin status at least to Hladnikm but please consider he almost never used admin tools while Xyxyx and me did use them. @Billinghurst, previous requests for adminships are not a construct, they can be seen here, Janezdrilc simply moved them to more appropriate page title (RfA) and made a local announcement there so other members of local community can express their opinions.
