Hi, AzChanna, the discussion you posted was for the first election (Steward_requests/Permissions/Approved_temporary#AzChanna.40sdwiki) which expired on 14 Nov 2015. Usually, after the temporary adminship expires, you start another discussion for a permanent adminship [there is no "adminship for life" ;)].

Vote wise, considering this is a small wiki with 4,000-ish content, and 30-something active users, 3 votes are not that unusual for wiki of that size. ✒ Bennylin 13:39, 16 November 2015 (UTC)

I understand the delay is not nice. However since there is no emergency, and there are other admins active, I really think we should wait for the local bureaucrat. He says he will do bureaucrat actions and we have to give him a chance. You may want to consider either appointing more bureaucrats or not having any bureaucrats, to prevent this situation in the future. For the moment  On hold until 27 Dec. I have got this right when I have the problems with my Internt operator with access to some Wikimedia projects and pages due to censorhsip, now they fixed it so I do not need to use VPN/proxy. So, I request the removal of:

• Global IP block exemptions
• ipblock-exempt on wikimania2016 - fixed myself
• ipblock-exempt on ruwikiquote

@Ruslik0: Hi, According to the policy, main condition is that sysops should give atleast 100 contrib. as well with administrative task for example: delete, restore, import, granting user right etc. within time period of 6 months. IMO, They haven't done any such kinds of activities and they are inactive too. They also haven't given atleast 150 contributions within 6 months. Spangineer has resigned as local Checkuser. Please remove Checkuser bit but do not remove Sysop bit.

This leaves our local community with only one Checkuser, namely Billinghurst. I understand that Billinghurst may not act as local Checkuser so long as he is the only one we have. Speaking for myself, there is no need to remove Billinghurst's local Checkuser bit. We'll have a discussion about a new Checkuser without delay, and Billinghurst can be trusted not to make use of the tools in the interim.

Just a question of curiosity: As a general rule, in a case like this, once the wiki has appointed a new Checkuser, does the flag of the existing partner checkuser (Billinghurst, in this case) get restored automatically? Not that I’m anyone to talk, but I don’t think that anyone should have to explain him/herself if he/she wants to get rid of his/her advanced rights (unless he/she chooses to do so). Being active in various roles demands time, and we have limited amount of that commodity. Anyone holding rights requiring that they sign the new Confidentiality Agreement has until 15 December to do so (or 31 December for OTRS). Their name will appear on the noticeboard when they have done so. At this time, billinghurst's name does not appear on the noticeboard and his rights will likely be removed by or on direction of the WMF tomorrow. The Finnish Wikisource have approved a brand new policy on the removal of sysop rights. Section 3 states "inactivity of two years" meaning zero administrative actions. The last log action of user Str4nd was performed 6 November 2013, and that is over two years ago. The new policy is retroactive, and inactivity can be calculated from the day the policy was adopted (18 Dec 2015). Please remove the rights. There are 4 different reasons (sections as Pxos wrote above) to remove an adminship, and you can see the English translations with green text in the end of every section. In lieu of activity requirements or internal processes, these communities have temporary appointments. So this is a process and if you have been through it more than once, it will extend up to usually a year in length. A year is about the longest that we will give a temporary adminship as that equates with the annual confirmation processes of some of the large wikis.
