Hi, I am requesting admin access to hif Wikipedia (I am already an Administrator at hif Wiktionary ) as there are many pages that are outdated and non-relevant name pages and need to be fixed, also there are many missing templates and because of that, there are many pages with errors. I don't think we can grant permanent or long-term adminship here. Many voters do not seem active community members from ar.wikinews (e.g. voter edit counts: 1 edit, 383 edits [admin], 5 edits, 17 edits, 3 edits and 11 edits respectively). Addshore currently has import and transwiki-import rights on testwikidata. Since they are already an administrator, transwiki-import is redundant and should be removed. I think that import can be removed as well because since phab:T315211 transwiki import is also enabled for import from Wikidata. Import rights have not been used since 2013. Uninvolved tr.wiki admin here. The relevant policy regarding desysopping is this one. As one would immediately notice, tr.wiki (just like most other wikis) has no policy regarding desysopping by community decision. There have been multiple proposals on this before, none of which has achieved consensus. Clearly, we cannot wish or force this into existence by the virtue of a poorly-attended, poorly-argued and poorly-closed discussion, and this discussion has no basis in policy (which would be why no admin wanted to close it). Had there been a sense of urgency here with an unequivocal community consensus and ongoing abuse of adminship, such a process could perhaps be reasonable. In this instance, there was a single (and quickly corrected) case of adminship abuse over a year ago and the said user will be desysopped within a month due to inactivity anyway. It would be prudent to avoid forcing a precedent that overrides the normal community-based process to decide on how deadminship discussions should be run. Not done Going to close this out. The user stated that they have "no problem with the withdrawal" and "it can be taken away", and then an eventual support for the removal based on the discussion. This is not a clear resignation to me, especially since they didn't request it at meta. Can has asked for the removal of rights for cause. If the translator worked right, the policy says that administrators are considered inactive if they do not perform any edits and logged actions for the next 365 days after their last edit and/or logged action. Pit rock last admin action dates back February 5, 2022 but he has edits in that period of time. What criteria uses plwiki policy: edits and admin logs or only logged admin actions? Yep @AmandaNP:, we had talked about it on IRC, and after reading this RfC we agreed that the community's will was probably "2 years of total absence". So "have not contributed to any Wikimedia project for the past 2 years" seems not to include only edits but also logged actions (there were some GS actions if I'm not mistaken).
