KRS dam water to be released to canal
Mandya: KRS dam authorities will release water to the Visvesvaraya canal for ten days starting from July 8. District minister N Cheluvarayaswamy informed that the water is being released to fill tanks and for drinking purposes. “The release of water is not for crops. A decision on releasing water for crops will be taken after ten days. We will make a decision based on the rain and inflow to the dam,” he said.
