As the most-awaited film ‘L2: Empuraan’s production advances in Gujarat, a behind-the-scenes video capturing the crew celebrating a colleague’s birthday has surfaced online.

In the heartwarming footage, Prithviraj is seen playfully urging the birthday celebrant, “Go take the shot, man!” after being offered a slice of cake. His light-hearted banter has sparked laughter and camaraderie among the crew, showcasing the jovial atmosphere on set.

One of the Twitter users commented, “*"ഡാ പോയി ഷോട്ട് എടുക്കെടാ "*Bday സെലിബ്രേഷനിൽ പോലും ഷോട്ട് എടുക്കാൻ ഓടിക്കും.” (Translated: He will even make the crew take a shot during the birthday function.).


Renowned for his directorial prowess with hits like ‘Lucifer’ and ‘Bro Daddy’, Prithviraj stars and directs ‘L2: Empuraan’, portraying the character of Zayed Masood. This phase of shooting in Gujarat is primarily dedicated to exploring Zayed Masood’s backstory, with Mohanlal notably absent during this schedule.
Following the Gujarat shoot, the production team plans to continue filming in the USA and the UK for pending international sequences. A brief stint in Dubai is also scheduled before wrapping up the remaining scenes in Kerala.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumaran's recently released comedy drama 'Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil' will start streaming on OTT from June 27 onwards.
