'Kalki 2898 AD' box office collections day 1: Prabhas starrer opens strong with Rs 2.2 crore in Kerala

As anticipated, Prabhas starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' has opened to a magnificent reception at the Kerala box office.
According to the Sacnilk website, the film has minted Rs 2.2 crore from the Kerala region alone. The movie, which premiered on June 27, 2024, enjoyed a substantial Malayalam occupancy rate of 72.90% on its opening day, reflecting the high interest and enthusiasm among the audience.

The day 1 Malayalam (3D) occupancy rates for 'Kalki 2898 AD' were noteworthy across various showtimes: the morning shows saw an occupancy of 52.59%, the afternoon shows 64.40%, the evening shows a remarkable 88.58%, and the night shows 86.04%.Kollam, a significant city in Kerala, reported the highest occupancy percentage at over 45.25%.

'Kalki 2898 AD', directed by Nag Ashwin, is a Telugu-language epic science fiction film inspired by Hindu mythology. The narrative revolves around a modern avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, who descends to Earth to protect the world from malevolent forces. The film features an ensemble cast, including legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.
