'Jatt & Juliet 3' Box Office Day 1: Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa starrer mints Rs3.25 crore and records second highest opening day collection
The highly anticipated 'Jatt & Juliet 3,' starring the iconic duo Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa, has finally hit the big screens after a long wait of nine years. Directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, the third installment of this beloved franchise has quickly proven to be a massive hit, recording impressive box office numbers on its opening day.
According to Sacnilk, 'Jatt & Juliet 3' garnered an impressive Rs 3.25 crores on its first day in theaters.
This achievement positions it as possibly the highest opening for a Punjabi film featuring Diljit Dosanjh. The movie has outperformed the opening day earnings of Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill's 'Honsla Rakh,' which collected Rs 2.52 crores, making it the second highest opening day collection for a Punjabi film. As of now, the movie that is on the top is 'Carry On Jatta 3,' starring Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa, which earned Rs 4.55 crores on its first day.

The film, which also stars Jasmin Bajwa, B.N. Sharma, Nasir Chinyoti, Rana Ranbir, and Jaswinder Bhalla, has been one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the year. Both audiences and critics have given the film rave reviews, particularly praising Diljit's outstanding performance and his palpable chemistry with Neeru.
Though the ‘Jatt & Juliet’ franchise is one of the biggest and most highly loved Punjabi series, when its first installment was about to be made, Diljit had zero interest in being a part of it. During the promotion of ‘Jatt & Juliet 3,’ Diljit Dosanjh recalled his past disagreements with Darshan Singh Grewal, the producer of the first 'Jatt & Juliet'. Diljit had intended to reject the offer in person; however, in a dramatic turn of events, Darshan Grewal handed him a blank cheque, asking Dosanjh to name his price. This heartfelt gesture convinced the actor to take on the role, a decision that has clearly paid off given the film's success.
