'Saindhav' box office collection day 1: Venkatesh Daggubati starrer collects Rs 4 crore

The Telugu action thriller, Saindhav was released in theatres yesterday, January 13, 2024. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the movie stars Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role. The film clashed at the box office with multiple other films like Hanu Man and Guntur Kaaram in Telugu states and Ayalaan and Captain Miller in Tamil Nadu. Saindhav was released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The movie, as per the reports of the industry number tracking site - Sacnilk has made Rs 4 crore at the box office on day 1. The film in pre sales has made Rs 25 crore and it was initially expected to gross Rs 10 crore on day 1. But, with the multiple films released in theatres at the same time, making a huge clash, the Venkatesh Daggubati starrer did not perform well.
The movie after its release yesteday, received mixed reviews from fans and movie audience. The film's story line was moderate and many took to Twitter to praise the antagonist, Nawazzudin Siddique' role in the movie. Movie goers even commented that Nawazzudin Siddique shines in his Tollywood debut.
Saindhav has a slow stae at the box office and the film's performance is still in question over the Pongal holidays as apart from the clash with the already released two big Telugu films, the movie is in a fourway clash at the theatres now as Nagarjuna's Naa Saami Ranga hits the big screens today, January 14, 2024.
Saindhav is an action thriller and the film's cast includes Venkatesh Daggubati, Shraddha Srinath, Arya, Andrea Jeremiah, Nawazuddin Siddique and Ruhani Sharma in important roles. The film's music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
