''RED'', starring Ram Pothineni in the lead was directed by Kishore Tirumala of Nenu Sailaja fame. The film stars Ram in two different roles and Niveda Pethuraj, Malvika Sharma and Amrita Iyer played the female leads. Releasing amidst huge expectations, the movie has been a success with the first show itself and is on the rise in terms of collections. In this context, ''RED'' success meet was held on Saturday in Visakhapatnam by the makers.
Hosted by Sreemukhi, the audience listened to Ram's speech and whistled. Speaking on the occasion, Ram said, ''I keep looking and looking. I don’t keep anything in my mind. He cheered the fans on saying that he would return everything. There was a bigger twist after the film’s release than the twists in the movie. We wondered how the audience’s response would be during the release of the film. It received mixed reviews. We thought it was okay. Meanwhile, the talk has been changed gradually and there was a twist. It’s a hit. The collections are growing day by day. This is what a suspense thriller with the twist means.''
He added, ''We all worked very hard for this movie. Loved it so much. Captain of the team Kishore Tirumala is the reason why the movie came out so well. Malavika Sharma has become a Tollywood’s new crush with this film. Exactly 15 years ago at the same time of Sankranthi, I came with the film called 'Devadasu'. I'm not always thinking about competition. But after 15 years, I understood who my competition is. You are my competition. Do you love me more or do I love you more on screen? I will not forget and I will take the competition very seriously. ''
Director Kishore Thirumala said, ''Special thanks to all of you who made our film a success. I have a good relationship with Visakhapatnam. I come to the city not only for shooting but also for the script. All the good dialogues that are part of the success of the film are written while sitting in front of the sea. ''RED'' is an action thriller produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under Sri Sravanthi Movies banner. The film also stars Sampath Raj, Vennela Kishore, Nassar, Posani Krishna Murali, Satya, Sonia Agarwal and Pavitra Lokesh in pivotal roles. Hebah Patel had a special song the film, which has music by Mani Sharma. Sameer Reddy handled the cinematography and it has been edited by Junaid Siddiqui.
