Tollywood veteran Venkatesh Daggubati has gracefully completed nearly four decades of an illustrious acting career in the film industry. The actor has completed 75 films, from 'Pandavulu' (1986) to 'Saindhav' (2024). On this significant occasion, the Telugu movie industry honored the actor at an event held at Hyderabad's JRC convention center. At the event, the actor made a surprising revelation.
He disclosed that he had considered retiring from the industry years ago.
The program was grand, with the presence of Mega Star Chiranjeevi as the chief guest, and actors like Nani, Vishwak Sen, Ruhani Sharma, and Andrea Jeremiah in attendance.
While reminiscing about every moment of his remarkable career, Venkatesh took the opportunity to express gratitude to his fans. He credited directors such as Raghavendra Rao, K Viswanath, and Dasari Narayana Rao, emphasizing his desire to be a part of good films, regardless of their success or failure.

Unexpectedly, Venkatesh revealed that he had contemplated retiring from the industry years ago but credited Chiranjeevi as an inspiration. Chiranjeevi's comeback with 'Khaidi No 150' in 2017 motivated Venkatesh to continue in the industry. On a humorous note, he mentioned that he might have gone to the Himalayas if Chiranjeevi hadn't been there. He added that actors Balakrishna and Nagarjuna also greatly inspired him.
Venkatesh enjoyed success with films like 'Guru,' 'F2: Fun and Frustration,' 'Narappa,' and 'Drushyam 2' after 2017. His 75th film, 'Saindhav,' directed by Sailesh Kolanu, boasts an ensemble cast including Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Jeremiah, Ruhani Sharma, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It is set to hit theatres on January 13, 2024.
Surprisingly, megastar Chiranjeevi expressed his wish to do a film with Venkatesh. In response, Venkatesh stated that a collaboration is in the works and is destined to be a box office hit.
