I have been watching Keir Starmer but have never been able to describe who he is or what he stands for in a sentence or two. I now know why. This book describes a unique man who is driven by a desire to serve using intelligence and whatever tools are most appropriate for the task in hand. Not left enough, nor right enough, nor exciting enough, yet so focused on outcomes that he remains too difficult to describe in a few sentences - which now seems a bonus. I learned so much from this excellent book.
