  • UPDATE January 24, 2024 Effective on Thursday, January 25th, Oregon Urology Institute Clinic on Hartman Lane will be opened on a limited basis with reduced schedules. If you have a scheduled PTNS, or Prostate Ultrasound with Biopsy appointment, we are not able to perform these at this site yet. We will be contacting you to reschedule as soon as possible. Your appointment may be at our main office or could be at our Radiation Center (1457 G Street, Springfield, OR). Telemedicine appointments will still be utilized when appropriate. If we have rescheduled your appointment to our Radiation center or you were scheduled for the Rapid Access Clinic, you were given the address at the time of scheduling. Your reminder may still have the address for the Hartman building. Please go where the scheduler advised you to go when they scheduled your appointment. Interpath Lab in our building is still not open. If your lab order was sent to Interpath, please find one of their alternative locations to get labs drawn. • During the Ice Storm and power outage during the week of January 13th, our main office in Springfield was damaged by a sprinkler pipe that burst and left the first floor of our building flooded. As we work diligently to clean up and repair, we are working to secure alternative spaces to see our patients. We will be utilizing our radiation center and another location in another medical office building. We will also add additional days in our satellite clinics to see patients in Roseburg and Florence. We are reaching out to our scheduled patients to move some to Telemedicine appointments when appropriate. We will soon reopen a portion of our Springfield office on a limited basis to see some of the patients based on acuity and urgent needs. Our Surgery Center remains closed at this time. Our call center and triage lines are back open with full staff as of January 22nd, but please be patient as we are experiencing high call volumes. Rest assured, we will be in touch with everyone as quickly as we can. We encourage our patients to use the patient portal to send messages to our providers whenever possible, as that is the quickest way to get messages to our providers and staff. We appreciate your patience and will continue to update you as we progress and rebuild.

Are you male and over 40? Please talk to your primary care provider about when to schedule a PSA (Prostate Screening) and DRE (Rectal Exam). We know these aren't anyone's favorite things to think about but screening save lives! Watch for more education and news about prostate cancer all month long. It is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. 💙
