Today is World Bee Day – a day to celebrate and acknowledge the work of pollinators who play an important role in food security, biodiversity, and ecosystem health. To support the biodiversity of our properties, team members from Vine Vale Vineyard in McLaren Vale installed their very first beehive in late 2022. With the hive producing honey that is used at Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant, the bees are essential to our vineyards, playing a crucial role in developing a more diverse and resilient ecosystem and helping our vines and surrounding plant life to flourish. hashtag #PenfoldsEvermore https://lnkd.in/eibejsuq

It has been 18 months since the acquisition of the historic Château Lanessan in the heart of the Medoc, we are proud to announce the first major renovation works have begun. A team of local artisans from Métallerie Bordelaise have commenced the painstaking restoration of a glass roof, which dates back to the late 1800s in the Estate’s grounds. This intricate work is expected to take months, following which they will begin the restoration of an equally historic glasshouse structure. Penfolds continues to invest in Bordeaux France, and sensitively play our part in the community to ensure Bordeaux thrives long into the future. On y va! #rénovation #chateaulanessan #bordeaux #nouvelleaquitaine #histoire
