Brian Eno’s generative filmed premiered in Los Angeles last night. It is spectacular and shows the potential for film innovation that gives viewers something different each time. The filmmaker Gary Hustwit explained that there are anchor segments present in each version with bits surfaced differently. We got to see some great early U2, Bowie and Talking Heads clips. It’s touring major markets in theatres - GO! They called the generative AI tech Brain One. And are working on tech to repurpose for streaming. Carly Eiseman

vickie nauman - this is spot on. 💥 I attended an incredible “Women In AI” event tonight with Female Founders Fund and the discussions on trust, transparency, and agility were striking. What resonated most, given the event's focus on female leadership, was the observation that these values are often most prevalent in female-led organizations, because we are inherently communal beings by nature. It made me wonder how AI will affect capitalism. How soon will we start see a major shift in our economic systems and what might those new systems look like? People have been poking fun at me for being so bullish about platforms like Suno and Udio, but despite the obvious ML roadbump, it’s for THIS exact reason — the bigger picture. If we handle this paradigm shift correctly (and that’s a big if!), generative AI will force #ContagiousVulnerability (a term that my brilliant friend Kate Greer coined during the pandemic), and that’s exciting! There’s nothing wrong with “faking it til you make it” but it’s very different from 10K hrs and atomic habits. For creatives to normalize this only encourages excellence, dissolving SO much of the gross hubris and ego we deal with in our industry, which would (errr…will 🤞) be astounding!!
