In the first episode of our Stay Tuned Education Series we travel to UnCommon Construction in New Orleans, a non-profit dedicated to helping high school students excel in construction jobs after graduation, while providing hourly pay for apprentice work and scholarships for graduating students. New Orleans high school senior J’Adore Linzsey discusses how she balances going to class during the week and building homes on the weekend, and her goals to seek further education using her newly-acquired skills.
