Day two of The Boodles saw a return to court for world number six, Andrey Rublev and a first appearance of the exhibition event for Felix Auger-Aliassime, Borna Coric and Diego Schwartzman.
There were also a host of celebrity guests watching on, including Lady Amelia Spencer and Lady Eliza Spencer - the daughters of Earl Spencer and Princess Diana's nieces - as well as the former Ireland football manager Mick McCarthy.
The mercury levels rose on another day of sunshine at Stoke Park, and the excitement and entertainment provided by the players on the court matched the scorching temperature.
First up was Andrey Rublev against Dusan Lajovic, with Rublev maintaining his encouraging form on grass with a second win of the week, taking it 6-1. 6-4.
The world number six got off to a flyer, taking the first five games, but the Serbian managed to avoid the dreaded bagel to take one game as Rublev won the first set 6-1.
The onslaught of Rublev's forehand continued in the second set, but Lajovic was up to the challenge of matching it. The pair exchanged games before Rublev closed out a 6-1, 6-4 victory.

The second match on court featured Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime against Argentina's Diego Schwartzman, and the two were only separated by a handful of points in the first set.
The diminutive Argentine is on his farewell lap of the tennis tour, having announced he will retire at the end of the year, but he put up a valiant fight against the much-younger 23-year-old Auger-Aliassime, battling back to take the first set to a tie-break. The Canadian edged that 7-6 (4) and then closed out the game with a more comfortable 6-2 win in the second set.

In the late evening sunshine, Borna Coric made short work of Schwartzman in the final match of the day. Coric, a regular at The Boodles, raced into a 6-1 lead and then saw out the second set 6-2 against Schwartzman in his second match of the day.
