On International Zeitgeist Day there were 450 screenings in 70 countries around the globe. Goa too had its own screening.
The documentary Zeitgeist Addendum, which has won an award at the Artivist Film Festival in Los Angeles, was screened at a resort in Anjuna. The film is a wake up call, touching topics like the unsustainable nature of the money-based economy — on cyclical consumption, planned obsolescence and corporate malfeasance.
Lounging by the pool were Urjas, Navina and Tanay and Surinder. While Sapna and June were seen enjoying the screening.
Downing beers and lemon sodas were friends Ojas, Fred and Doris. Also present were Ivo, Leonie and Raimund. Guido, Anna and Blue ensured the evening went off smoothly. Despite it being a long evening — three hours — that included a slide show, a few people stayed behind to discuss the ideology set out by Jacques Fresco, the founder of the Venus Project. It was an evening that left many with enough food for thought.
