I had a query regarding my dealing…

I had a query regarding my dealing account and spoke to Mary at customer services.
She was extremely helpful, and answered all my queries.
I received a first class professional service and will be asking for Mary next time I call AJBell.
I Highly recommend AJBell not only for their 1st class service but also for their low cost management and dealing charges.

Excellent experience!

In our telephone interaction with Josh Ryder today he was very knowledgeable and personable, with excellent communication skills. He talked us through the process required to meet our objectives very clearly and carefully, with a healthy dose of good humour! Thank you very much indeed, Josh. Much appreciated.

Great stockbroker

Great stockbroker. Good funds, great range of investments. Jasmine sorted out a funding/payment problem I had been having in seconds.

`i will always call customer services rather than automation from now on

I finally had to call customer services, who understood my problem immediately and were helpful and provided answers. This was not so with the chatbot which was slow and formulaic and did not serve my purpose.

Not interested

The person I spoke to sounded so fed up, almost depressed. Even the person who recorded the answerphone message sounds bored and fed up.
I got the impression they were not in the slightest bit interested in my business from the second they answered the phone. It's just a 'do it yourself on the internet' kind of service. Not for me
*20/07/24 - In response to your reply, there is nothing more to be said from my part, the initial contact with your company was poor and immediately gave me the impression that they were just going through the motions which is not want I want from a company that I may have wanted to do business with. I suggest you make a few mystery phone calls to your own company and see if you think your operatives are positive or dreary and fed up! Listen to your own 'monotone' answerphone system and try to think from a customer perspective. Make it more welcoming, at least try to sound happy to hear form people and that you really want to help them. Good luck

AJ bell webchat

I used the webchat facility on the AJbell website. they are very quick to respond with both bot and human assistants. They cannot always help resolve the problem there but they signpost you the correct person/route to resolve issues. so far been very useful to me.

Telephone help line answered promptly.

Telephone help line answered promptly.
Adviser responded to my questions and was able to resolve my major query by guiding me through a section of the website.
He also cross checked another issue which avoided my potentially having to contact the help line again.
Entire contact well paced as well as being very streamlined and professional.

Phone service great, but…

As usual today’s customer service on the phone was very accessible (immediate in this case), friendly and helpful. So rare to find this with other businesses.
I hope AJ Bell improves its overseas dealing capabilities, both in terms of markets where clients can deal, e.g. Indonesia, South Korea and Sri Lanka and automation of processes in markets outside the UK non British markets.

Just had to call ajbell to assist…

Just had to call ajbell to assist gaining access to my account, I’d had to change sign on and new password and obviously messed it up, well I’m not the brightest tool in the box. Thanks to Mary for all her help, much obliged to you for yr patience and help.

An excellent customer advisor.

I rang initially to get logged into my account as I was having difficulty in logging in. The customer advisor I spoke to, was very helpful and stayed on the phone while I logged in on their app. Tyron, the advisor, was also able to give me good advice on ways to handle my account which he made easy for me to understand, which gave me a better idea of the process I was enquiring about. Tyron was a credit to the company, being both courteous helpful and efficient with my call. I can't thank him enough.

I transferred my SIPP across to AJ Bell…

I transferred my SIPP across to AJ Bell a couple of years ago and I’m pleased with its performance and also the service is excellent whether that’s communicating through the app or calling their helpline. I’ve also started two for my children too.

My wife recently transferred hers across too and while the transfer was easy, the Refer a Friend vouchers appeared to have got stuck. After reaching out a lady called Donna Ucar promptly supported us to get the vouchers sent over. Great service and she really went out of her way to help a difficult customer :D

Nothing to dislike here

As an ex customer, I needed some tax details regarding my SIPP. My call was answered quickly and Mary Grundy dealt with my call. She was on the ball from the word go, knew exactly what I needed and sent it all by email promptly. Mary was super efficient, and has excellent interpersonal skills. A credit to A J Bell. Thanks Mary, you're a star.
