WPL Points Table 2024

22 matchesFeb 23 - Mar 17

The second season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) starts on February 23, with the final scheduled to be held on March 17. The matches will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. As was the case last year, five teams will face each other in eight matches in a round-robin league stage. Each team will face each other twice, with one match each played at both sides' "home" and "away" venues, although it will only be Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals who will truly be playing in front of their home crowds. The teams that will participate this season, apart from DC and RCB are defending champions Mumbai Indians, UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants. DC finished top of the table last season with MI in second place. UP took up third spot, thus playing a one-match Eliminator against MI. MI won the match and beat DC in the final to win the inaugural title. The format will be the same this season as well, with the team finishing top of the table qualifying directly for the final and facing the side that wins the Eliminator between the second and third-placed teams.
